Recap - Mississippi State 3, Auburn 0, 5/3/14

After a game one victory, Mississippi State wanted to continue their confidence, and they did just that with yet another 3-0 victory over Auburn.

Nobody in particular had a monster hitting night for the Bulldogs, and the Bulldogs struggled offensively, but was able to get runs on the board. Alex Detz went 1-4 with an RBI and scored a run and C.T. Bradford went 1-4 with an RBI, but that was about it for individual performances for the Bulldogs.

The only runs of the entire ballgame came in the 3rd inning. It started with a single by C.T. Bradford that scored Jake Vickerson. After that, Alex Detz reached on a fielder's choice which scored Derrick Armstrong, and Brett Pirtle doubled, scoring Detz. Beyond that, it was a pitching battle with no runs scored.

Mississippi State improves 30-18, 13-10 and will try to complete the sweep at 1:00 PM on the MSU Radio Network.
